Inabinet captures 400th coaching win

With Francis Marion University's 11-4 road win over Augusta State University on Sunday (March 28), FMU head coach Art Inabinet captured his 400th career coaching victory.

Inabinet now owns a career mark of 400-239-2 in 13 seasons at the four-year collegiate level: 10 at Francis Marion and three at North Greenville College. 

His current Patriot squad is 24-7 and ranked 14th in the latest NCAA Division II Top 30 poll.

In six of his seasons as head coach, the Patriots have won 30 games, and four times FMU has earned invitations to the NCAA Division II national tournament. He also recorded a pair of 30-win seasons at North Greenville.

Inabinet is a native of St. Matthews, S.C., and he earned both the B.S. degree in history and the M.A.T. degree in secondary education (social sciences) from Winthrop University.
