FMU: First-year player at FMU.....Transferred from Georgia State University where he redshirted, but did not play.....Making the transition to the point guard position for the Patriots this year.....A lot of the team’s success in 2011-12 will weigh on him learning the point guard position, and executing......Also attended Brunswick Community College.

BCC:  Played one season where he averaged 10.8 ppg and 4.8 rpg.

PERSONAL:  Born Mi’kyel Anton Nero in Richmond, VA.....Nickname is Mike.....Attended Huguenot High School where he was coached by Antone Exum.....As a senior, he averaged 13.4 points per game and earned All-Dominion District honors.....Won two district titles while in high school.....Named to the Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Academic team.....Played for the Richmond Squires AAU team.
