PERSONAL: Born Michael Lucas Bigelow Sr. in Florence, S.C ....Graduated from Wilson High School, where he ran for coach Lorletta Rogers.....An All-Region selection in 2009, he posted a personal-best 5,000-meter time of 17:55.....Placed 38th at the 2009 AAA Lower State Championship Meet with a time of 19:26.39 and helped Wilson earn a spot in the AAA state meet....Named his squad’s co-most valuable player as a junior.....Also a three-year member of the Wilson soccer team, earning All-Region honors as a senior....Was a member of two region championship soccer squads and the Tigers advanced to the AAA state playoffs all three seasons..... He set the JROTC mile time school record in 10th grade.....Nickname is Bigs, Bigelow or Sugar Man.
