Macy to speak at Warriors Basketball Clinic
Francis Marion University women's basketball head coach Heather Macy will speak at the second-annual Warriors Basketball Coaches Clinic on March 27 in Fayetteville, N.C.
The clinic will be held at the Highland Presbyterian Church gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Macy will speak at 4:30 p.m. on the "Interstate Offense - The Transition Game."
Macy-coached squads have won the past three NCAA Division II team scoring titles. This year's Francis Marion is ranked second nationally in points per game.
In five seasons as a college head coach (three at FMU), she has compiled a 115-39 record, including back-to-back 27-5 campaigns with the Patriots.
The clinic is sponsored by the Fayetteville Warriors Association Boys and Girls Amateur Athlete Union (AAU) and Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) club.
