WINTHROP, SC - Senior guard Eboni Fields scored 13 points to lead three players in double figures and the Francis Marion University defense forced 33 Winthrop University turnovers as the Patriots claimed a 65-56 exhibition win over the NCAA Division I Eagles, Saturday night (Nov. 7) in women's basketball action.
Following Fields was junior Shannon Singleton-Bates with 11 points, senior Nicole Mealing with 10, and senior Precious Tucker with nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.
