Kaiser named PBC Volleyball Specialist of the Week

Francis Marion University senior setter Jenna Kaiser (KY-zer) has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the week ending Sept. 7.  This is the fourth time in her career she has earned the award.

The Broomfield, Colo., native averaged 10.21 assists and 2.05 digs per game last week as the Patriots posted a 3-2 record.  She also tallied 10 total blocks and four service aces during the five matches, and did not commit a service error in 76 attempts.

The 6-3 Patriots play at Wingate University tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m.

Kaiser had three matches of at least 44 assists and posted a double-double (50 assists and 11 digs) in a 3-1 victory over the University of West Alabama.  She also pushed her career assists total to 3,301, 10th best in Peach Belt Conference history.

For the season, Kaiser ranks second in the PBC in assists per game (9.72). She is also averaging 1.97 digs, 0.66 kills, 0.52 blocks, and 0.14 service aces per game.

Kaiser is a former three-sport standout at Broomfield High School.
