Patriots run at CCU Invitational

CONWAY, SC - Francis Marion University did not score in the women's race on Friday afternoon (Sept. 18) at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational, but three individuals took part in the 5,000-meter race. 

Senior Amanda Doyle finished in 14th position with a time of 21:56, while sophomore Samantha Smith placed 23rd with a time of 24:35 and freshman Sierra Young was 25th in 26:08.

The host school won the team title.

Both Francis Marion cross country teams will return to action on Oct. 2 (3:30 p.m.) at the Presbyterian College Blue Hose Invitational Meet in Clinton, S.C.
